Many thanks to the dedicated team that came out on Sunday 4th of June last week to maintain our flagship Lockdown Wood in Goldwell Park. Tasks involved weeding, watering and installing mulch mats. The weather was balmy and there were socially distanced smiles all round. During the session, it was noted that some of our young alder sadly are suffering from Alder Beetles resulting in some damage to leaves.
We hope our Alders have a speedy recovery and that the team take a well deserved rest after the session. If you would like to be involved in future site maintenance sessions, please do get in touch. We meet at Goldwell Park the first Sunday of each month and at Barn Crescent on the second Sunday. The more, the absolute merrier!
